As Christians across the world continue celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, Hon Sydney Okechukwu Edeh, Enugu State Chairman of ALGON and Nkanu East LGA chairman has felicitated with Nkanu East people and ndị Enugu as they celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
Hon. Ede who is also the Deputy National Publicity Secretary of Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON), In a statement he personally signed prayed for unity, peace and prosperity of Nkanu East, Enugu and Nigeria in general.
"The yuletide season presents us an opportunity once more to love, share and forgive. I urge Christians to utilise the period to pray for unity, peace and prosperity in Nkanu East, Enugu and Nigeria at large.
"We must also rededicate ourselves to the true virtues of faith in God, love for one another, honesty and peaceful co-existence. It is time to make these virtues more evident and practical in our daily lives,” he said.
"As God loved the world so much that He gave His only Son, it is important to recognize that the reason for the season is the sacrifice of our Heavenly Father and similarly replicate this example in our relationship with others.
Similarly, the Executive Chairman of Uzo Uwani Local Government Area, Barr. Chijioke Ezugwu, has sent out Christmas Greetings to the Executive Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, on the occasion of celebration of birth of Christ.
The council Chairman in a statement he personally signed and sent to Veteran Magazine, commended Governor Peter Mbah's numerous accomplishments in the year 2024, while listing some of Mbah's notable footprints in the year to include his adequate provision of security, massive infrastructural investments in education, health, among others.
"With inexplicable joy in the hearts of the people of Uzo-Uwani, we send you this season's greetings. This is because your good works across the length and breath of the state has gained ascendancy, as all we keep seeing is a state which is always witnessing
"Your good works since the inception of office in May 29th, 2023, Enugu has witnessed an unprecedented development both in the area of security, infrastructure, education, health, etc.
"It takes a man of vision like you to disrupt the state, making it a premier destination for business, tourism, investment and good living. Indeed, you have received many awards as a result of you turning the entire state into a construction site", Barr. Ezugwu said.
On his part, the Executive Chairman of Enugu North Local Government Area, Dr. Ibenaku Harford Onoh, has called on Christians across Enugu North LGA to 'reflect on the teachings of Christ, whose life exemplifies the enduring values of love, humility, and kindnes.'
The Chairman in a statement he personally signed, also expressed gratitude for the visionary leadership of our dear Governor, His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah in the state, restating his 'commitment to improving the lives of our people through better healthcare, education, and enhanced infrastructure.'
"As we come together to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, I extend my heartfelt greetings to every resident of Enugu North Local Government Area. Christmas is a time of joy, peace, and hope. A season to reflect on the teachings of Christ, whose life exemplifies the enduring values of love, humility, and kindness.

Also, the Executive Chairman of Aninri Local Government Area of Enugu State, Prince Ugochukwu Nwanjoku, has commended the Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, on the occasion of Celebration of Christmas.
Prince Nwanjoku, in a statement he personally signed, explained that the "visionary leadership of the Governor no doubt, has innumerable transformative and innovation impacts in the socio-economic, political, security, health, agriculture, good and inclusive governance of the people of the state
He however, highlighted that "Enugu state today truly resonate the pride of Easter region, the coal city and the haven for ambience, tranquility and hospitality."

Meanwhile, an Nkpologu born Cleric, Pastorex Nnadi, has commended Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah for his numerous developmental strides in the state in the year 2024.
Pastorex in a statement he personally signed, highlighted that "this year's celebration is remarkable to the people of the state because of the governor's huge infrastructural investments in the state within a space of one and half year in office.
"On behalf of my family, I heartily rejoice with His Excellency, Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah on the occasion of this year’s Christmas.
"I am particularly happy with your administration's strides so far on the economic fronts, especially in infrastructure, education, heath, security, among others", the cleric had said.
