What many considered impossible has today become a shining reality under the leadership of Engr. Jude Chinedu Asogwa, KSJI, the Executive Chairman of Nsukka Local Government Area.
In an extraordinary display of commitment, vision, and administrative efficiency, the comprehensive renovation and aesthetic transformation of the prestigious Adada Hall, Adada House, and its surrounding fences, which commenced on 23rd April 2026, was fully completed within just ten days and successfully hosted dignitaries during the reception of the Executive Governor of Enugu State at the Enugu North Mega Rally on 2nd May 2026.
The project, initially viewed with skepticism due to the magnitude of work involved and the short timeframe, has now become one of the most remarkable infrastructural achievements ever delivered by any council chairman within such a limited period.
Speaking during preparations for the Enugu North Mega Rally, the Chairman of the Planning Committee, Chief Ikeje Asogwa, had questioned the feasibility of completing the project on time, considering the size of the hall and the extensive level of renovation required. His concerns reflected the thoughts of many who doubted the possibility of such an ambitious undertaking.
However, Engr. Jude Asogwa remained resolute. Determined to deliver quality results within schedule, he mobilized resources immediately and engaged Osino Infrastructure Limited to execute the project. Through consistent supervision, strategic coordination, and personal on-site inspections by the council chairman himself, the renovation works progressed steadily and efficiently.
Within ten days, Adada Hall was transformed into a magnificent edifice befitting its status as one of the most important event centres in Enugu North Zone.
The newly renovated structure was first utilized in receiving members of the Enugu North Council of Traditional Rulers, who expressed admiration for the remarkable transformation. Overwhelmed by the outcome, Chief Ikeje Asogwa later commended the council chairman, saying
“Jude Asogwa, thank you for making us proud."
Today, Adada Hall stands not only as a symbol of pride for the people of Enugu North and a testament to the visionary legacy of Hon. Tony Okechi Ugwu, the former chairman who constructed the hall, but also as a living testimony to the exceptional dexterity, resilience, and work-driven leadership of Engr. Jude Chinedu Asogwa.
Indeed, the project further demonstrates his firm belief that impossibility exists only in the minds of doubters, while true leadership lies in delivering results and preserving the legacies built by predecessors for the benefit of present and future generations.
