Igbokwenu for Asiwaju/Shettina campaign initiative, being one of the foremost support groups for president Bola Ahmed Tinubu and vice-president Shettima, on Tuesday, 14th of October, 2025, commended Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah on his defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The Group in a congratulatory message, signed by the Global President of Igbokwenu for Asiwaju/Shettina campaign initiative, High Chief Hon. Amb. Dr. Mrs. Ginika Tor, she described the Governor's defection to the APC as both Courageous and statesmanlike.
Enugupress.ng reports that the global president, who also described the move as perfect political realignment and act of patriotism, however, stated that the decision inspires confidence, unity, and a fresh wave of hope across the Igbo landscape.
