The Senator representing Enugu West district in the red chamber and Chairman Senate Committee on Solid Mineral Resources, Steel, and Metallurgy, Distinguished Senator Osita Ngwu, on Thursday, 21st September, 2023, congratulated the Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, on his tribunal victory.
In a statement by his Special Assistant on Media and Communication, the Lawmaker described the judgement as "justice well deserved, while also applauding the judiciary for their impartiality in living up to expectations, and not giving-in to unnecessary sentiments not known to our laws or electoral act.
Enugupress.ng reports that Senator Ngwu who contended that the victory was for Ndi Enugu, also commended 'the disruptive Innovative Agenda of the governor, which he said was aimed at repositioning and taking our dear state to a greater height.'
His words: "On behalf of myself, family and the entire people of Enugu West Senatorial District, I write to congratulate the amiable and indefatigable governor of Enugu State, Barr. Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, on his well-deserved victory at the Enugu Election Petition Tribunal today.
"This is no doubts, justice well deserved. And I want to also applaud the judiciary for their impartiality, in living up to expectations, and not giving-in to unnecessary sentiments not known to our law or electoral act.
This is however, victory for Ndi Enugu who are passionately attached to the disruptive Innovation of the governor, aimed at repositioning and taking our dear state to a greater height.
He further urged the people of Enugu State to always support the governor to deliver on his lofty programs.
