Following the declaration of Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State as validly elected during the 2023 General elections by the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Enugu State on Thursday, the Director of Gburugburu Free medical surgery, Dr. George Ajogwu, has declared two weeks of daily free medical surgery, to celebrate the governor's court judgement.
Governor Peter Mbah, was on Thursday, 21st of September, 2023, affirmed as legitimately elected governor of Enugu state during the last general Elections by the Chairman of the three-man panel, Justice Kudirat Morayo who presided over the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Enugu State.
Reacting to the development, Dr. Ajogwu, stated that his team would be open to receive individuals, with varying degrees of surgical cases beginning from tomorrow, for the purpose of treating them free of charge, in celebration of the court victory.
"We have been carrying out free medical surgery twice a week in celebration of Gburugburu's good leadership as well as Governor Peter Mbah's leadership excellence since mounting the stage.
"But this time around, we are running a full shift for two good weeks, in celebration of Governor Mbah's court victory.
"This is our own way of thanking God for his goodness and for foiling the plans of the enemies in our God-given state.
"So I want to use this medium to invite everybody with surgical cases to my hospital, located in Nsukka, starting from this minute. Come, let's celebrate a well deserved victory",he concluded
