Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, on Friday visited the Senior Pastor and General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministry International, Apostle Johnson Suleman, in Auchi.
According to a post on Suleman’s verified Facebook page, the governor’s visit was to celebrate the apostle’s birthday who added another year on Friday.
The outspoken Suleman said Obaseki during the birthday celebration acknowledged the amazing contributions he has been doing for humanity.
The post quoted the governor as saying, “Apostle Suleman’s commitment to serving the people is exemplary .
” He is helping the poor, taking care of widows, giving scholarships, building schools and hospitals. He is not just a pastor but also a selfless humanitarian.
” I commend him for his dedication and contribution to the people of our state. ”
The governor, lavished praise on Suleman for positively touching the lives of people, restated his commitment to build an airport in Edo North, adding that he was sure that the apostle would be the number one person to always patronise it following his frequent trips.
“Our plan to build an airport in Edo North is still alive, and at least I know if that airport doesn’t have any customer, it will has one customer in Apostle Suleman,” Obaseki said.
Suleman, had in an earlier post, said : “Thanks @Governor Godwin Obaseki for coming to the house to celebrate with me..God bless you.”
