A Lagos-based businessman, Mr. Pius Okechukwu, has commended Enugu State Governor, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, for the appointment of Hon. Solomon Gwiyi as Special Assistant to the Governor on Publications and Documentation.
Okechukwu described Gwiyi as a talented and dedicated professional whose appointment, according to him, is a recognition of his long-standing commitment, writing ability and passion for the development agenda of the Mbah administration.
He noted that Gwiyi, who is widely known for his strong communication and writing skills, has consistently demonstrated his capacity and dedication in promoting and documenting the activities and achievements of the current administration.
Speaking on the appointment, Okechukwu said, “Gwiyi is that golden fish which has no hiding place. He could not have been hidden forever.”
He further commended Governor Mbah for identifying and appointing what he described as a valuable talent, saying the appointment demonstrates the importance of placing competent individuals in positions where their skills can be effectively utilised.
“I commend the Governor for fishing out such a talent. This is what it means to put a square peg in a square hole,” he said.
Okechukwu expressed confidence that Gwiyi’s appointment would add value to the administration, particularly in the areas of publications, documentation and strategic communication.
“I do not have any doubt that Gwiyi’s addition will bring a lot of good things into the system,” he added.
