Meanwhile, an excerpt from Dr. Martins Oke's emotional tribute reads: "For thirty two years, I have been a member of the UDE OGBOO family. For these years, you played the role of a mother to my family. Like all mortals we have faced some existential challenges with transition of very close family members into eternity."
The funeral attracted prominent figures, including former presidential candidate of the Labour party in 2023 general elections, Mr. Peter Obi; Federal and State lawmakers, past and present office holders across the Federation, serving and past LG Chairmen in Enugu state, among others.
The Auxiliary Bishop of Enugu Catholic Diocese, Most Rev. Dr. Ernest A. Obodo, who officiated the service, urged Ezinne Patricia’s children to emulate their mother’s legacy of humility and prayerfulness.
May her soul rest in the Lord. Amen.
