The Executive Chairman of Isiuzo Local government area of Enugu state, Hon. Barr. Obiora Obeagu, has expressed sadness over the death of late Mrs. Chinyere Lovelyn Mbah, mother-in-law to Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State, who was buried at her Obazu Mbieri, Mbaitoli local government area of Imo State on Thursday.
The Council Chairman in a statement signed by his SSA on Media, Hon. Odoabuchi Kingsley and sent to Enugupress.ng, also consoled the wife of the governor, Mrs. Nkechinyere Mbah, while praying to God to accept late Mrs. Chinyere's soul in heaven.
He said, “All of us in Isiuzo LGA are deeply saddened by the untimely passage of late Mrs. Chinyere Lovelyn Mbah, mother-in-law to Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State.
“It is highly unfortunate that we lost her at this very moment and we are pained by her demise.”
While praying God to guard, guide and grant Gov. Mbah, his wife, and the entire family of the deceased the grace and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss, Barr. Obiora also asked God to grant the deceased eternal rest
