The Member representing Enugu East/Isiuzo Federal Constituency and Green Chamber hopeful for 10th National Assembly, Rt. Hon. Cornelius Nnaji, alongside former director general of G-17, Chinedu Mbah, have congratulated Governor Peter Mbah on his victory at the court.
The two political leaders took to their Facebook pages to express their happiness on the court judgement, which had ruled in favor of the governor.
According to Hon. Nnaji, he wrote: "I join the good people of Enugu State to congratulate the Executive Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency, Dr. Peter Mbah on his victory at election tribunal."
In his own post, Hon. Chinedu Mbah wrote on his timeline: "Congratulations, Governor Peter Mbah".
Recall that Prince Cornelius Nnaji of the PDP was declared winner of the February, 2023, National Assembly election for Enugu East/Isiuzo Federal Constituency by the National Assembly Tribunal sitting in Enugu. He had defeated Hon. Prof. Paul Sunday Nnamchi of labor party at the tribunal.
