Enugu Media Group commends Aka Eze Aka's appointment as Commissioner for Information


 

The appointment of Enugu's new commissioner for information, Mr. Aka Eze Aka by the Governor of the State, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah has been described "as square peg in a square hole" that would impact on information dissemination in the state. 


This is contained in a congratulatory message by a foremost Media Group in the state, known as 17 Media aides to the 17 LG chairmen in the state, issued on Saturday, 12th of August, 2023. 


In its message, the group said that the appointment of Aka Eze Aka who was until his appointmet Managing Director of Radio Nigeria Nsukka, and Frontline radio broadcaster is coming at the best of time, especially as the state government is setting the tone for effective service delivery in the state. 


The group also felicitated with His Excellency, the Executive Governor of the state, Dr. Peter Mbah, for finding Aka Eze Aka worthy, following his nomination, confirmation and eventual designation as Commissioner for information in the state, while stating that his coming on board at this special moment would add value to good governance, which has been the hallmark of the Peter Mbah-led administration.


According to the group, “the appointment of Aka Eze Aka as Commissioner for information in the state can best be described as Square Peg in a square hole. He is not only competent, progressively minded but highly reliable. 


"We want to also particularly thank the governor of the state, Dr. Peter Mbah for finding such a competent personality to work in synergy with other trusted hands appointed by his  administration to drive the wheels of governance. 


"Aka is bringing his rich and varied wealth of experience as a seasoned professional radio manager on the table, for the benefits of both the state government and the people of the state. 


"We therefore, wish to thank Dr. Peter Mbah for the quality of the appointments and his  focus and determination to make Enugu state the envy of others," the statement read.
