Ahead of Gov. Peter Mbah's 100 Days in office as the Executive Governor of Enugu State in September, 2023, a quarterly magazine, Veteran News, has commenced tracking of government activities and progress, while assuring that the next edition of the magazine would be richly packaged in line with its tradition of excellence.
The magazine which found its way into the state media space during the official swearing-in of the new governor at Okpara Square Enugu, had assured it would continue to publish its edition every three months, in solidarity with the new administration in the state.
According to the Chairman of the publication, Gwiyi Solomon, he thanked those who supported the quarterly production during its first outing on May 29th, 2023, while inviting others to send-in their goodwill messages as well as advertisements, ahead of the upcoming edition, for the reading pleasure of the public.
His words: ""Dear valued Readers, The Veteran Magazine Invites Congratulatory Messages, Opinion Write-ups, Advertisements, etc., For its next edition.
"On behalf of Veteran News Magazine, I write to thank you for your invaluable contributions, unrivaled patronage and uncommon supports during our first edition of Veteran News, which was distributed for free (as agreed), during the May 29th Swearing-in ceremony of our dear Governor, Dr. Peter Mbah.
"It was for your supports that the edition was adjudged as the 'best of its kind, top-notch, opinion-packed and generally extolled by all and sundry.
"Without an iota of doubts, we were motivated by these kind words and are poised to give you a better and more quality production in this second phase, which would be due in less than two months from now.
"In a nutshell, this is to formally notify this reader that the next phase of our publication has commenced, and would be ready during the early days of September, 2023, for another free distribution.
"This is in line with our avowal to ensure that the news production becomes a quarterly exercise, capable of Adequately keeping our readers abreast of government policies, progress and programs.
