All is now set for one of the the biggest comedy festivals of the season titled 'Depression Pills' season II The Raw Truth to take place in Abuja the nation's capital.
The event organised by Class Kaptain Entertainment will be hosted by one of Abuja finest artistes, Stephen Emenike popularly known as Steve Headmaxter and will feature comedy, music, testimonies, and raffle draw.
This show is coming on the heels of disturbing incidences of depression in and outside the Federal Capital Territory Abuja which has led to suicide in some cases.
It has in recent times be amplified by economic downturn, loss of jobs, fuel scarcity and epileptic power supply.
This show therefore seeks to bring residents of Abuja to create a good atmosphere for them to relax, laugh and make merry to have a healthy living.
This 'depression pills' according to the organisers will be a fresh path towards a happy living.
It will create awareness on the fight against depression and suicide which has recently not received the needed attention, leaving depressed souls to navigate through their challenges on their own.
At the show taking place on June 26, 2022 at Sheraton Hotels Abuja, entertainers expected to perform include, Ajebo de Comedian, Sarkindariya, Chuks D General, Emma Onyx, Victor Thompson Lequa, Pastor Nicodemus, Sam & Song, MC Bob, Shortcut, Cri-Snow, Mazi Prosper, and Washington DC.
Others include, Funny Razaq, Shally White, Retired Madman, Papify, Job Legend, Aminu de Comedian, MC Akepre, MC Organic, Kachified, Young Bishop and Nobotosombo.
Ticket range from 5k to 1m and is available at Grand Cubana Hotel Jabi, Tastia restaurant Gwarimpa phase 3 and online.
