For teenagers growing up in a rapidly changing digital economy, understanding Artificial Intelligence, entrepreneurship and digital skills could increasingly shape the opportunities available to them.
It is against this backdrop that the Louis Love Nest Foundation has unveiled Project STEAM 3.0, a free 31-day online training programme designed to expose teenagers across sub-Saharan Africa to entrepreneurship, Artificial Intelligence (AI), digital skills, business development, professional development and health education.
The programme begins on October 1, 2026.
Chairman and Media Strategist of the foundation, Coach Ndali Modebe, who disclosed this to newsmen in Enugu on Thursday, said the initiative was designed to equip young people with practical knowledge, mentorship and exposure to opportunities linked to the future of work.
According to her, the programme was convened by herself, Public Health Physician, Prof. Ifeoma Modebe, and the Iodine Team.
A major component of the initiative is STEAM for Teenz, which will provide young participants with access to professional mentorship, digital knowledge and discussions around emerging opportunities.
“For teenagers, STEAM for Teenz provides early access to professional mentorship, digital knowledge and conversations about the future of work,” Modebe said.
She added that the programme would encourage participants to ask questions, explore possibilities and see themselves as contributors to Africa’s future economy.
Entrepreneurs and professionals will also have opportunities to share their experiences and engage with young people through the programme.
Linking Technology With Health
Beyond technology and entrepreneurship, Project STEAM 3.0 will incorporate public health education through the Iodine Project, continuing the foundation’s iodine-awareness activities.
The project will honour the legacy of Professor Louis Onuorah Victor Ekpechi, known for his contributions to the study of iodine deficiency disorders and endocrinology.
The programme will also feature World Iodine Day education and a World Iodine Day Workshop, with participation from Dominion City Adenta, Ghana, and the Nigerian Medical Association.
Modebe said the initiative brings together education, empowerment, nutrition, entrepreneurship and industrialisation, creating a platform where young people, professionals, entrepreneurs and health experts can learn and translate knowledge into action.
Taking the Programme Into the Community
Project STEAM 3.0 will also extend beyond online training through the Show Love Outreach.
The 2026 edition will focus on women in prison, with professionals, volunteers and sponsors expected to provide health education, counselling, mentorship and donations.
At the centre of the initiative is Modebe, a media and communications professional, entrepreneur, coach and community development advocate with more than two decades of experience in broadcasting and media.
Her work spans media, entrepreneurship, education, wellness, digital skills and humanitarian service.
Describing the philosophy behind the initiative, she said: “The next generation deserves a seat at the table.”
Project STEAM 3.0 will run for 31 days from October 1, 2026.
