Enugu Council poll: Nsukka Youths pledge maximum support for Asogwa, PDP candidate


As the Enugu State  Local Government Council Election is here, the President of Nsukka Town Youths Association, Comr. Onyekachi Omeje, has urged all youths of Nsukka to rally round the People's Democratic Party (PDP) candidate Engr. Jude Asogwa because of his youths friendly agenda.

Omeje said this in a press statement issued in Nsukka on Friday signed by him.

He said that Asogwa had robust plans for youths in the area, in terms of empowerments as well as addressing other needs and aspirations of youths.

Omeje recalled that, during recent Nkpunano Ward PDP Campaign in Nsukka town  held at Urban Girls, youths reminded the chairmanship candidate to stay true to his promises for youths.

"Asogwa reiterated his commitment to ensure delivering of massive democracy dividends to Nsukka LG residents especially the youths, if elected on September 21 LG Council election,"he said.

"Because of Asogwa youths oriented agenda  Nsukka youths will not only support and vote Asogwa  to win election but will continue to support him throughout his tenure

"Nsukka youths are excited and happy with Asogwa youth agenda of peace, unity and rapid development in Nsukka LG, especially as it concerns youths
The youths president said during that campaign, hundreds of  enthusiastic youths in Nsukka expressed appreciation to Gov Peter Mbah of Enugu State and PDP on their choice of Asogwa as PDP Chairmanship candidate in Nsukka LG 

"Asogwa is indeed a mark of 'Tomorrow is Here' fresh  perspective in Nsukka LG as thousands of entrepreneurs and millionaires will be birth during Asogwa's administration," Omeje said.

Omeje however, urged youths in Nsukka to avoid all forms of violence  and thuggery before, during and after  the council election but report anybody or group of people found fomenting trouble to security agencies for appropriate actions.

"Please avoid any temptation of being used by anyone to cause violence or used as political thugs before, during and after election," Omeje added
