JUST IN: *Ezugwu, Wife Bag Double Chieftaincy Titiles In Nkpologu*

 


The Executive Chairman of Uzo Uwani LGA, Barr. Chijioke Ezugwu and his beloved wife and  first Lady of the rural council, Mrs. Chijioke Evelyn Kelechi, have been conferred with two different chieftaincy titles by the traditional ruler of Nkpologu ancient Kingdom, HRH Igwe S. J. Idu. 




During the event, Barr. Chijioke, received double chieftaincy titles—Ebube Nkpologu Attah and Adada 1 of Ejona Nkpologu from the traditional ruler of the community.



 The Chairman's wife and first Lady of the LGA, Mrs. Chijioke Evelyn Kelechi was also honored with "Di bu ugwu" and "Oso Di eme"  also in two different conferment exercises. 



The event which took place at Nkpologu during the civic reception of the Governor, Dr. Peter Mbah; the executive chairman of the LGA, Barr. Chijioke Ezugwu and two other illustrious Sons of the community, Hon. Patrick Ubru, Commissioner for Agriculture and Agro-industrialisation and Dr. Barth Ezugwu, Member 3 Enugu Local Government Service commission, was organized by the people of Nkpologu Ward.



Meanwhile, the Governor was represented at the colorful occasion by the Commissioner for Local Government, Rural Development, and Chieftaincy Affairs, Deacon Okey Ogbodo.


Those who spoke during the event include, Member representing Uzo-Uwani in the State House of Assembly, Hon. Chukwuma Ekwueme, Commissioner for Agriculture and Agro-Industrialization, Mr. Patrick Ubru, Member III, Enugu State Local Government Service Commission, Dr. Barth Ezugwu, The Peoples Democratic Party LGA Chairman, Kingsley Ani, Fmr Commissioner for Agriculture, Dr. Matthew Idu, and others.


Those in attendance include the six LGA chairmen of Enugu North, top Stakeholders across the LGA and the state in general. 


The event which was chaired by the former Senator Enugu North Senatorial District, Dist. Sen. Chuka Utazi, was moderated by Hon. Jude Ifeanyi Okonkwo, former Chairman of the PDP in the LGA and SPA on due process and public affairs to the LG Chairman.
