The Inter-Party Advisory Council Enugu State has elected a new State executives led by its new state chairman in the person of Hon Manifest Obioma Nnamani of the BOOT Party. The colourful hand over ceremony at the council's state office on Tuesday 19th March was witnessed by many members of the association.
The special Adviser to the Governor of Enugu State on Political matters Chief Frank Anioma was the special guest of Honour with him was the Local government PDP Chairman of Awgu Chief Okey Nathan Ude.
The handover ceremony was conducted in a spirit of unity and cooperation, with both the outgoing and incoming leaderships pledging to work together for the greater good of Enugu state. Nze Ikechukwu Alor, the immediate past chairman congratulated the new leadership on their election and urged them to prioritize the interests of the council and the welfare of the people they serve. He also thanked and appreciated Hon. Frank Anioma, the Special Adviser to Governor Peter Mbah on Political Matters, for his selfless efforts in making sure the crisis which threatened to desterblize the association was resolved, and brought the group back as one body.
Hon. Frank Anioma in his submission thanked all the members, mostly those who sacrificed self interest to make sure peace was established. Hon. Anioma further advise them to remain courageous and always work to the unity of the organization in making sure that every interest is well represented in fairness and equity.
Chief Anioma solicited for their continued support for the government of His Excellency Bar Dr Peter Mba who has shown commitment in delivering quality and good governance to the people of Enugu State.
The new leadership of IPAC in Enugu state has expressed their commitment to fostering unity, collaboration, and transparency within the council. They have also vowed to strengthen the relationship between political parties, promote dialogue and consensus-building, and enhance the council's capacity to engage with key stakeholders on important issues.
The resolution of the internal crisis within IPAC is a positive development for Enugu state and its political landscape. It demonstrates the council's resilience, maturity, and ability to overcome challenges in order to fulfill its mandate as a platform for political parties to work together for the common good.
Moving forward, it is imperative that the new leadership of IPAC in Enugu state continues to build on the progress made in resolving the internal crisis and focuses on promoting good governance, democracy, and political stability in the state.
