The Gburugburu Free Medical surgery has confirmed receiving Surgical equipments worth millions of naira from Enugu's Ex-Governor, Dr. Lawrence Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.
The medical items were supports from the Ex-Governor for his free medical Surgery taking place across Enugu North senatorial district in the past one year and counting.
The items received include Carton of Surgical gloves, carton of Examination gloves, carton of vancryl 2 suture, carton of vancryl 1 sutures, carton of Nylon 2 suture,carton of Nylon 1 suture, carton of Surgical blade, 5 wheelchairs, 50 pcs of curved long artery forceps, 50 pcs of long straight artery forceps, and 50pcs of short long and straight artery forceps.
Others were 8 lightweight and Adjustable clutches, 50pcs of needle holding forceps, 50pcs of towel clips,One suction machine,5 pcs of Roma medical frame model, one carton of 10ml, 5ml and 2ml syringes, 1 carton of soframycin,one carton of iv giving set, one carton of cannula size 20,22 and 24, one instrument sterilizer and other surgical instruments.
The medical Director of the free medical initiative of the Ex-Governor, Dr. George Ajogwu, who was on hand to receive the items, thanked the Ex-Governor for fortifying the team with such quality medical items, while emphasizing that the medical equipments were major boost for the team's free medical program.
He however, prayed to God to continue to bless and strengthen the former governor as he continues to touch more lives in the zone.
"On behalf of the team, I want to thank our former governor, Dr. Lawrence Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for sending us these equipments worth millions of naira.
"This is a big motivation to the team and our prayer is that the almighty God continue to bless and keep him for us. Amen," he stated
