The Executive Chairman of Isiuzo LGA of Enugu State, Hon. Obiora Obeagu has congratulated Prof. Sam Chijioke Ugwu on his nomination and inauguration as Commissioner by Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah of Enugu state.
The chairman in a Congratulatory message on Friday morning, said Prof. Ugwu's exemplary career as a political scientist and service to his people during his term as council chairman qualified him for such lofty position in Governor Mbah's government.
The Isi-Uzo Council Chairman expressed confidence in Prof. Sam Ugwu's “capacity to deliver” while thanking the Governor, *on behalf of the good people of Isi-Uzo,* for finding him worthy of the appointment.
Excerpts from the statement reads: “As a local government, we wish to felicitate with our son, Prof. Sam. Chijioke Ugwu on his nomination and inauguration as Commissioner in Governor Peter Mbah's Government.
"We are confident of Prof's capacity and capability to deliver on the mandate given to you by our governor.
“We also use this opportunity to thank our Governor for finding him worthy and appointing him from the lots considered from Enugu State.
“It is our prayer that Prof. Sam succeeds in all responsibilities assigned to him and justifies the trust and confidence of the governor and the state in general," the chairman concluded.
