Kashim Shettima, the running mate of the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, has advised Nigerians to vote for the candidate who can change Nigeria for good.
Speaking at the Nigerian Bar Association conference on Monday, Shettima urged Nigerians to vote for a “city boy”(Tinubu).
Speaking on the qualities Nigeria’s next leader must possess, he said that the person must understand the Nigerian psyche and the complexity of Nigeria adding that Nigeria need a leader who understands the global economy.
“You have a city boy, who has transformed Lagos into a home for all,” he said.
He further added that Tinubu has a track record of excellent performance as he has mentored men and women who are doing well in their spheres.
“Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has established an excellent track record of performance.”
He concluded by outlining the significance of electing a capable leader who can transform Nigeria for the better, “It’s absolutely essential that you vote for competence, for capacity, for a leader who can lead us to the promised land. It is absolutely essential. Yes Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the man.’’
